Tential Tuesday at Spaces, Arlington - 11/05/2019 | Tential

Our latest Tential Tuesday was yet again a hit. More than 50 Java, Data, UI/UX professionals joined us for a night of networking, food, drinks, and outstanding presentations.

Jeremy Balian, Senior Account Executive at Kong kicked the night off with a presentation on APIs, Microservices and Service Mesh Architecture, emphasizing the importance of future-proofing, “Applications must support yesterday, today and tomorrow— architecture matters.”

Matthew Reinbold, Director of Platform Services Center of Excellence at Capital One, ended the night with a presentation on AI governance, the impacts of biased data, and being cognizant of the importance of the culture surrounding it. "The regulatory and ethical environment is growing in complexity."

The takeaway for the night— impact. Impact of modern deployment methods and the impact of AI governance culture.

And what about the crowd? Some of their takeaways included:

"Attendees were engineers, so everyone was on the same page."

"I liked that I had the ability to meet my industry peers and learn."
